Who We Are

pereniva was founded by Elena Markova, a movement enthusiast with a background in kinesiology and community wellness. After two decades of working with various age groups in fitness and rehabilitation settings, she saw a growing need for a space dedicated to people navigating their 30s, 40s, and early 50s—a stage where physical activity often takes on new meaning and challenges.

A Purpose Shaped by Life

The goal of this project is to support people in maintaining an active, grounded lifestyle through movement practices that respect the body’s changing needs. Whether someone is returning to exercise after a break, looking for gentler alternatives to high-intensity workouts, or simply wanting to reconnect with their body and routine—pereniva is here to meet that moment with practical, thoughtful guidance.

Our Services
How It All Started

The idea began informally—Elena started a local walking group for friends and neighbors who felt disconnected from traditional gym culture. What started as a once-a-week meet-up gradually evolved into regular sessions, joined by people from all walks of life. Their feedback and consistency sparked the idea of something more structured, yet still flexible.

From Local to Accessible

As interest grew, Elena began collaborating with a small network of instructors who shared her values: accessibility over ambition, steadiness over speed. Together, they built a schedule of walking routes, yoga classes, and fitness sessions that prioritized well-being and community over competition. This organic growth led to the formal creation of pereniva.

What Guides Our Work

At the core of this platform is a simple idea: movement should be sustainable. Many people in their 30s and 40s find that their needs shift—what used to energize now exhausts, or old habits no longer fit their daily routine. We aim to meet participants where they are, helping them find forms of movement that integrate naturally into life.
